Professional Wedding Photographers are Ready for Anything

This £300 general purpose lens lives in my kit bag as a backup. If there’s a problem with my usual lenses (very rare, but it can happen) I’m equipped to keep on shooting your wedding without interruption. The action won’t wait for the photographer to sort himself out!

£300 for insurance? Yes, and that’s a great reason to book a professional wedding photographer – we’re prepared for any eventuality.

Wedding Photography Balmer Lawn Hotel, Brockenhurst

I popped around to the Balmer Lawn Hotel in Brockenhurst the other day ahead of the weddings I’m due to shoot there this spring and summer. I’ve been there before but it’s always good to see if anything’s changed and what new photography opportunities it might provide.

When I do these recce visits I usually take a bunch of snapshots to remind me of the layout, light, colours and so on, rather than trying to set up exactly the shots I’ll take on the day. In this one I was really struck by the blossom in the trees along the front of the hotel.

Thanks too to the lovely Balmer Lawn staff who made me feel very welcome – see you again soon!

New Album Sample from Folio Albums

I’m very excited – our new sample wedding album from Folio Albums has arrived and complements our other album products beautifully. Please come and see it, together with our other albums and products, at the Highcliffe Castle wedding fair this weekend, the 20th March. If you can’t make it, here’s what happened when we opened the box:
The service has been excellent, with Folio Albums staying in close contact during production and shipping without being asked.
Folio Albums emphasises its environmentally responsible credentials. Most of the packaging is recycled and it’s survived its short journey from Barnsley.

You can enjoy a quick game of Pass the Parcel at this point.

Got there! The last piece of wrapping is a soft cloth bag. This is a 10″x10″ album, a 12″x12″ version is also available. Each album is bound by hand and covered in fine leather.

Trust me on this: the leather cover smells lovely too! You can choose from two finishes and a range of colours, and have a padded cover or not. * Padded cover not suitable for sitting on.

First look inside. Folio Albums uses archival quality inks and paper so you can be sure your investment will last.

Lay-flat double page spreads no problem.

Seal of Approval. We’re very impressed with our new studio sample from Folio Albums and really looking forward to showing it to our clients. Come and see us* and our new sample album at Highcliffe Castle! *The seal’s appearance is subject to availability.

Carlton Hotel Wedding Fair, Bournemouth

It was lovely to meet all the visitors today at the Carlton Hotel wedding fair in Bournemouth. It was great to meet you and discuss your wedding plans.

Don’t forget we are exhibiting again next weekend and also at two other wedding fairs in Dorset and Hampshire this spring, so if you haven’t yet had a chance to say hello and find out what sets FourT4 Photography apart please come along!

Here’s a quick snap of our stand today – and now I can reveal the near panic that set in 30 minutes before the scheduled start of the event, when I realised that I had put the wrong sort of Velcro (loops not hooks) on the back of my six lovely new foam backed prints to go on the display stand. Fortunately I found some more hooks in the “wedding fair box” so the emergency stopgap sellotape wasn’t needed for very long! And many many many thanks and much love to Becky, Mrs FourT4, who answered my call for help by putting three children in the car and driving down to Bournemouth with the “old” photos as a backup – they made a lovely addition to the look of the stand!
