Six Great Ways to Display Your Dorset Wedding Photography

More and more of our lovely clients would like their Dorset wedding photos on disk.  And so that’s one product we offer – photos on disc with a generous usage licence.  Basically you can do anything you like with your wedding photos except sell them.  Technically this means FourT4 Photography keeps the copyright and you get a perpetual licence to copy, print and distribute your wedding pictures.  They are, after all, your wedding photos.

What’s this got to do with displaying your wedding photos?  It’s like this.  Put your photos on disk and they rarely see the light of day.  Worse, you have to switch on your computer to look at them!  Put them on the wall – let them see daylight – and you’ll have some beautiful art to remind you of your amazing wedding day.  Becky and I have a CD slideshow, an album of photos, and two framed mounted photos on the wall.  Ask me to name the defining image of our New Forest wedding and I’ll tell you it’s the black and white shot of us snogging in the garden of Careys Manor – because that’s the 20×16 framed print on our bedroom wall.  In the album there are a lot of other great photos; the shot of us paddling in the Highland Water stream, and the ones of us with the New Forest ponies, but it’s the one on the wall that gets all our attention.  On the CD there are lots more photos, but we hardly ever look at them.

So here are six amazing ways to get your Hampshire wedding photography off that disk and up on the wall where you can ooh and aah over them.  We provide a wide range of products from UK suppliers and we’re sure there will be something here that suits your home and sense of style.  All of these products can be provided as part of a bespoke wedding photography package or purchased after your wedding.  You might even ask your guests to give your favourite picture as a wedding present, using our innovative wedding photography gift vouchers!  They are all, of course, also available to our portrait clients.

To learn more about all these products please contact us or pay us a visit – all our samples are on the wall and you can see for yourselves!

1. The Edge Print

The prints are available in a variety of finishes and come with a choice of either a traditional satin laminate or ultra modern high visibility acrylic coating.  The print is affixed to solid MDF and the edges of the product are then bonded with a textured, durable edge in a choice of various colours, effects and depths.  We had a good look over these at a recent trade show and would recommend a simple but stunning combination of the gloss photo finish and gloss black edges.

There are many popular sizes to choose from and the Edge Print is fixed to the wall effortlessly using simple wooden batons.

2. The Alumini Print

The colours are vibrant and have a depth that displays your photo  on a luminous, scuff resistant and waterproof metal surface.  The Alumini Print comes with 4 print surface options; high gloss, high gloss brushed, satin, or satin brushed.

The high gloss option is, in our opinion, the best of the bunch, offering exceptional image clarity and colour reproduction due to the image being infused into a special coating on the aluminium sheet.  Both brushed options offer exceptional image clarity and colour reproduction with a lightly brushed texture behind it.  There are many size options to choose from and the finished product stands 12mm off the wall surface due to its unique hanging system.

3. The Premier Acrylic

The Premier Acrylic creates a three-dimensional look for your image when fixed to the wall.  The aluminium stand-offs give the appearance of more than one layer.  It is made from 5mm frosted acrylic front and back plates separated by raised fixing pins at each corner.  Definitely a talking point!

This product is available as a single image or as a triple panoramic, with the prints laminated in either a satin or gloss finish.

 4. The Clarity Frame

The Clarity Range is a contemporary and exclusive choice of framed prints with a difference.

The image area is set back from the frame, giving a three-dimensional feel to the product and the image border can be set to complement the image(s) or moulding colour. The prints are overlaid with an attractive frosted acrylic surround and then finished with 3mm high visibility acrylic.

There are 8 different layout options, giving 13 varying sized products—all with a choice of 6 attractive moulding colours.

Each product is delivered ready to hang with all fixtures attached and comes in a presentation box.

5. The Fine Art Wrap

The Fine Art Wrap is produced using state of the art 12 ink technology printers. The permanence of the inks is combined with a UV laminate for extra durability.

This product is available in 2 options; white cotton canvas or photo finish. It is mounted on board, wrapped around a wooden framework to eliminate bowing and the corners are folded to ensure the framework is hidden.

It can be supplied with a full image wraparound or with a coloured border to complement your photo.  Which you choose will really depend on how much space there is at the edges of your photo.  Each wrap comes with wall fixings attached.

6. The Box Frame

The Box Frame is really simple and a striking alternative to a traditional framed print.

The image sits level with the top of the 2″ frame, to give an image box effect. The frame moulding sits flush against the wall, is of the highest quality and is available in 9 colours.

There are 2 print options, lustre and metallic, both of which are finished with a laminate for extra durability. The product is delivered in a presentation box.

I hope that’s shown you that unlike some wedding photographers we offer much more than just wedding photos on disk – please get in touch if you’d like to know more!
