Your Wedding Photography Questions Answered

Find A Wedding Photographer recently published its Top Ten Questions You Should Ask Your Wedding Photographer at: http://www.findaweddingphotographer.co.uk/kb/top_ten_questions_you_should_ask_your_wedding_photographer.html
We thought it would be fun and informative for FourT4 Photography to answer them:

1. How long have you been shooting weddings?
Five years. Wedding photography that does justice to one of the biggest days in your life is highly demanding and experience counts. All weddings are different and Jon Roach’s experience allows him to deal with different situations, lighting, and weather conditions without interrupting the flow of your wedding.

2. If I book, will you be the photographer at my wedding?
Yes, you’ll get Jon Roach. All the photos on FourT4.com are by Jon in his unique style. Jon will use your pre-wedding consultation to start to build a rapport with you that will result in truly memorable wedding photos. Should you opt for a pre-wedding shoot, this is a great opportunity to get some great portraits and for you to relax in front of the lens. Some companies use freelance photographers and the person you are seeing might be a salesperson. This might be a cheaper approach but you won’t necessarily know your photographer.

3. Is the work that I am seeing all yours and only yours or is it a selection of work from more than one photographer?
It’s all work by Jon Roach. The images you seen on FourT4.com were taken by the photographer who will be shooting your wedding.

4. Can I see some complete weddings?
Of course – this shows you that Jon achieves consistency from start to finish, rather than just showing you some edited highlights. Please contact FourT4 Photography to make an appointment to see some sample albums from recent weddings. There are also some available on the internet by permission of our clients.

5. Do we get a disc of print files so we can order our own prints?
Yes, this is inclusive if you order an album or can be purchased as an extra if you don’t.

6. If the wedding overruns will there be any extra charges?
This is usually something we’d agree on at your pre-wedding consultation but I’m very flexible. My entire business philosophy is based on being there to serve you on the biggest day of your life. I usually stick around longer than originally requested anyway because I’m doing what I love.

7. Is an album included and can I see an example?
If you’d like an album we supply gorgeous hand-made coffee table albums from Loxley Colour. For more details please see FourT4.com, click Weddings and then Albums. They really have to be seen in real life though, so please make an appointment to meet us or find us at a wedding fair where we’ll be loaded with samples!

8. How long after the wedding do we get to see our wedding photographs?
Jon endeavours to complete editing and post-production, and upload your photos to a secure web gallery, within 2 weeks. Please allow more time in the height of the summer season though – we will be busy shooting weddings, and modern wedding photography involves post production work to make sure your images are just right. Better to wait for the perfect picture.

9. Are there any other charges on top of the quoted price?
FourT4 Photography tailors a package to your requirements so there aren’t any nasty surprises. We do charge extra for additional prints, and sometimes for a disk of images (see earlier)

10. Do you require a deposit and when is the balance due?
FourT4 Photography requires a deposit to guarantee the booking. We will then send you a signed contract which sets out the terms and conditions, cancellation rights and products included in the package. The balance is payable 30 days after the wedding.

We hope that was helpful! If you have any other questions or would like more information please call 01202 482573 or email contact.us@FourT4.com
